About us
Garant furniture industry d.d. Polzela is located in the heart of the Savinja Valley. Its beginnings date back to 1948, when especially war victims started to work in the then company of the disabled called Mizarstvo Polzela. Since then the company has expanded and was renamed into the Furniture factory Polzela (Tovarna pohištva Polzela) in 1954, and in 1961 it was renamed into the Furniture industry Garant Polzela (Pohištvena industrija Garant Polzela). In 1995, the company was privatized and reformed by statue into a public limited company.
The company employs 200 workers and is considered to be the largest in Slovenia in terms of flat-pack furniture production. The production consists of furniture for the complete furnishing of the home, ranging from bedrooms, living rooms and children's rooms, teen's rooms, hallways, kitchens, to a wide range of pieces of individual furniture, wardrobes and office furniture.
Our products can be viewed and purchased in larger furniture stores throughout Slovenia and also in the markets of South-eastern Europe (Croatia, the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, etc.).
Our whole production range is available in our factory store in Polzela, together with a variety of supplementary products (mattresses, couch sets, dining rooms, etc.). Recently we opened a discount store, where we offer our products at even lower discount prices.
We are the only company in Slovenia that provides rough splinter board print to our competitive advantage.
